Born and raised in Los Angeles, Natalie has spent her life thus far dedicated to movement. As a child, she trained with Hasmik Amirian and Marat Daukayev at the Marat Daukayev School of Ballet. She later went to The Ailey School and LINES Ballet to round out her contemporary education. Natalie holds a BA in English, which was received while balancing her career as a professional dancer. In 2020, following a decade-long practice of integrating Pilates into her cross-training, Natalie completed her certification through Pilates Sports Center’s Teacher Training Program. Natalie was initially drawn to Pilates as a method to strengthen her body and understand imbalances and injuries that stemmed from her background as a dancer. She aims to blend her knowledge of the body and eye for detail to create healthy patterns while working with a vast range of people. Additionally, she teaches both classical and contemporary dance, and is a certified GYROTONIC® trainer. She is consistently looking to expand her teaching repertoire and offer a blend of the classic and progressive styles in her lessons.
